Jay McTighe is a veteran educator, having served as a teacher, resource specialist, program coordinator, and director of a state program for gifted students. He is an accomplished author, having co-authored 18 books, including the award-winning and best-selling Understanding by Design series with Grant Wiggins. His books have been translated into fourteen languages. Jay has also written more than 50 book chapters, articles and blogs, and been published in leading journals, including Educational Leadership (ASCD), Edutopia and Education Week.

Jay has an extensive background in professional development and is a regular speaker at state, national and international conferences and workshops. He has made presentations in 47 states within the United States, in 7 Canadian provinces, and internationally in 38 countries on six continents.

Dr. Catlin Tucker

Dr. Catlin Tucker is a bestselling author, international trainer, and keynote speaker. She was named Teacher of the Year in 2010 in Sonoma County, where she taught for 16 years. Catlin earned her doctorate in learning technologies from Pepperdine University. Currently, Catlin works as a blended learning coach, education consultant, and professor in the Masters of Arts in Teaching program at Pepperdine University.

Catlin has written a series of bestselling books on blended learning, which include The Shift to Student-led, The Complete Guide to Blended Learning, UDL and Blended Learning, and Balance With Blended Learning. She is active on X @Catlin_Tucker and Instagram @CatlinTucker and writes an internationally-ranked blog at CatlinTucker.com.

Tony Frontier

Tony Frontier, PhD is an award-winning educator who works with teachers and school leaders nationally and internationally to help them prioritize efforts to improve student learning. With expertise in classroom assessment, student engagement, curriculum development, effective instruction, meaningful feedback, and strategic planning, Frontier emphasizes a systems approach to build capacity to empower leaders and teachers to serve others. His most recent book, Teaching With Clarity: How to Prioritize and Do Less So Students Understand More (ASCD, 2021), helps teachers prioritize and align standards and assessment to instruction and feedback that supports each students’ efforts to learn.

Frontier is also co-author of the ASCD books Five Levers to Improve Learning: How to Prioritize for Powerful Results in Your School with Jim Rickabaugh, Effective Supervision: Supporting the Art and Science of Teaching with Bob Marzano and David Livingston, and Making Teachers Better not Bitter: Balancing Teacher Evaluation, Supervision, and Reflection for Professional Growth with Paul Mielke. He is also co-author of Corwin’sCreating Passionate Learners: Engaging Today’s Students for Tomorrow’s World with Kim Brown and Don Viegut. Frontier is a frequent contributor to the flagship journal Educational Leadership, his most recent articles include, “How to Provide Better Feedback Through Rubrics” with Jay McTighe, (March, 2022) and "A Transformative Approach to AI", (June, 2023). His books have been translated and published in Korean, Mandarin, and Arabic.
