Catherine O’Farrell

Catherine O'Farrell is one of the founders of Incluzun.com, an organisation supporting people of determination in a holistic way across the MENA region. Catherine has been working in education and inclusion for almost 20 years, she has degrees in Education, Psychology and a masters in Engineering. She is passionate about developing opportunities for children with individual needs. She is an award winning, international school inspector, has been a Group Head for some of the region's largest educational providers and has worked with international and national committees from the Global Sustainability Network to the Ministry of Education here in the UAE to push for a more sustainable and inclusive world. Catherine has spoken at UNESCO, representing the Committee for Inclusive Education in the Gulf, she is a regular media contributor and conference speaker.

Dr. Gihan Fradii

Principal, Ignite School, Dubai

Dr. Gihan Fradi is a dedicated, goal-driven educational leader with 15 years of experience with diverse teams in the UAE and USA. She is a strategic leader with proven ability to set up, manage and direct successful teams in multi-cultural environments, with particular focus on coordination and development of academic curriculum across multiple K-12 curricula schools. Dr. Gihan works closely with regulators to ensure schools are meeting graduation requirements and teaching appropriate grade level curriculum standards. She brings significant experience in regards to curriculum development and assessments, with a strong background in school improvement, policy making, and a proven track record of improving external inspection outcomes.

Warren Apel

Director of Technology, The American School, Japan

Warren Apel is the Director of Technology at The American School in Japan. He is a National Board Certified Teacher, an Apple Distinguished Educator, a Google for Education Certified Innovator, and a founding member of the AI in Education Collaborative.

As the Global Project Coordinator for the World Digital School Project, he helps international schools around the world navigate the pedagogical changes being caused by artificial intelligence tools. He is passionate about using technology to amplify and extend learning, helping parents navigate the challenges of raising children in a digital world, and connecting like-minded educators to learn from each other. His personal mission statement is to improve.
