Michael Hughes has been working in international schools since 2003 and has been lucky enough to work in Jordan, Singapore, Japan and now back in Singapore. He has worked in PYP schools for the past thirteen years, eleven of these as a Coordinator. He is interested in helping students become assessment-capable and self-regulated learners and believes the best way to do this is to ensure clarity of possible learning outcomes and pathways. Because of this, Michael enjoys the challenge of working in schools that blend the PYP framework with standards-based curricula.
