This email was the highlight of our year.
Teaching is perhaps the most rewarding job in the world. And if anything comes close, it’s making such meaningful impact in teachers’ lives.
On that front, 2024 has been a big year for us. We introduced more innovations than ever before—our most significant ones yet—and positively impacted the work and well-being of over 150,000 educators worldwide.
We started 2024 with a BHAG
Our purpose at Toddle has always been to empower teachers to do their best work. This year, we sharpened that purpose by committing to a Big Hairy Audicious Goal (BHAG): To give every teacher 10 additional hours each week, while helping you elevate your practice.
We’re doing three things to achieve this goal:
- Building Toddle as your all-in-one teaching and learning hub
- Embedding an advanced AI assistant across all your workflows
- Integrating Toddle with all your favorite tools for a seamless experience
These three priorities guided everything we built in 2024 and will continue to guide what we build moving forward.
Here’s everything we built in 2024 toward that vision:
Toddle AI
We made AI a core capability across every module in Toddle, and the impact has been truly heartening. In just a year, teachers have used Toddle AI to create over 119,731+ lesson plans and assessments, 258,186+ progress report comments, and 70,000 announcements. To think of the amount of time this must have saved for teachers— that’s what keeps us going. With the updates we’re launching soon, our goal is to double this number to 8-10 hours—maybe more—and create a profound shift in how teachers manage their time.

Toddle Connect
Toddle Connect is like Slack or a smarter WhatsApp, built right into Toddle. It helps everyone in the community — teachers, school leaders, parents, and students — connect through direct messages and channels from anywhere within Toddle.

Toddle Worksheets
Toddle Worksheets is our next-generation assessment platform designed to simplify every step of your assessment cycle—creation, delivery, monitoring, grading, and analytics.
You can build multimodal assessments using diverse question types like multiple choice, fill-in-the-blanks, True/False,or even graphing questions — with Toddle AI built right in, creating these assessments takes just minutes – then, deliver them securely with built-in proctoring tools, provide personalized feedback, and get deep insights into student progress —all within Toddle.
Toddle IBDP Library
We collaborated with experienced IBDP educators from around the world to create the largest ever repository of IB exam style questions. Toddle’s IBDP Library offers over 10,000 exam-style questions, 100+ practice worksheets, and 50 mock exams, all complete with detailed solutions and mark schemes. Currently, the Toddle IBDP Library supports ten DP subjects:
Our eventual goal is to be able to support you with comprehensive question banks for all DP subjects.
Behavior Management
A lot of you told us that there was a disconnect between behavioral and academic data at your schools. And that the disconnect created a fragmented understanding of students. With the new Behavior Management module, we brought behavior tracking and reporting directly into Toddle. Teachers can now log, share, and report on incidents right within Toddle, view the incidents alongside their lesson plans, refine differentiation strategies with a full picture of each student, and write progress reports that reflect both academic and emotional growth— without switching platforms.
AI Tutors
Saved our personal favorite for last. Most recently, we introduced AI Tutors on Toddle, and we believe it’s our biggest step yet, towards making personalized, student-centered learning a reality. What excites us most is that they open up possibilities that once felt out of reach in our classrooms. Like engaging 25 students in 25 unique ways with just minutes of prep. Like teaching math lessons through board games or exploring Shakespearean literature through conversations with Shakespeare himself.

Larger Integration Ecosystem
Building a more connected ecosystem for schools has been another key focus this year. We added 10 new integrations, enabling single sign-on into Toddle and effortless syncs for rosters, class schedules, calendar events, grades, and attendance.
2025 looks just as promising if not more.
