About the session

Portfolios in the IB Language A courses are an ideation space where students can jot down their interpretations and critiques of the literary works they study. Students also record their learning progress over the two years of the course in their portfolios. In this Q&A, experienced Language A educators will respond to your questions about the learner portfolios, how you can help students structure them, and record their learning consistently.

Donald Cleary
Donald has been an IB DP English A educator for more than a decade. He is currently an IB DP English A and TOK educator at the American School of Doha, Qatar. Donald has taught internationally in the MENA region, as well as in Central America. During his time as an educator, Donald has held several positions of responsibility, including TOK Coordinator. Educated in Jamaica, Donald is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Education at the University of Bath, UK.
