Ernie Boyd
Ernie Boyd started his career in Cape Town, South Africa. He taught music in a public school and was appointed head of Music before moving to The American International School of Cape Town where he taught Music from K4 to Grade 8. Here he was the Head of Performing Arts and oversaw a rigorous drama regime. Currently he is the MYP Coordinator at the International School of Nanshan Shenzhen. Since 2018 he has grown as an educator and also as a leader in the school. Ernie is active in the MYP Arts community sharing and is in the process of preparing the MYP team for the upcoming IB evaluation visit. He is passionate about providing students with 'access to success' and assisting teachers with implementing systems and modes of teaching that allow this to be experienced by all.
